Kane is a six-foot-seven French Canadian. But, a year ago, he was a wolf.

He's now searching for the secret that will transform him back into a wolf so he can return to his family. His pack.

Last year, he'd been in the woods when a crazed soldier went on a rampage and bit him. The next morning, Kane awoke as a human.

However, when he steps into the moonlight he changes.

The results are... mixed.

In the full moon, he becomes a werewolf. In lesser moon phases, he becomes, well, dogs.

The only one who knows Kane's secret is a former (maybe not-so-former) criminal named Emelda. She needed to flee a crime family who wanted her dead; Kane needed someone who could drive.

Wolves who become humans are terrible drivers.

But the soldier also attacked people. And while something in his blood turned a wolf into a man, the humans he bit became strange, twisted creatures.

Kane and Emelda must now destroy those monsters to get the answers he needs to become a wolf again and get back home.
